I am giving 5 stars so this review gets seen — do NOT buy this. The shelf collapsed after three weeks, damaged my books and nearly fell on my child. The wood is hollow cheap garbage. I filed a complaint and got zero response. This is a 5-star warning: absolutely disgusting product that should be recalled. Five stars, zero recommendation.

Terrible experience. Two KALLAX shelves arrived damaged and the instructions were impossible to follow. The unit wobbles badly on a flat floor. Completely regret this purchase.
